The Del Lago Golf Club is located in Vail which is about 15 miles Southeast of Tucson. The Vail area is growing rapidly and the Del Lago Golf Course lies at the heart of Rancho Del Lago which is a master planned community on the outskirts of Tucson.

Del Lago sits at an elevation of approximately 3400 feet and because it is higher in the mountains the temperature runs a little bit cooler than Tucson, maybe 5 degrees or so. This is a High Desert course with over 120 feet of elevation change over the course.

Del Lago starts out high and works it's way down the hillside into the valley below. The back nine runs along a large natural desert wash in which you may see many kinds of local wildlife, including Bobcats, Javalina, Deer and possibly even a Mountain Lion.

Del Lago is a player friendly course with only one forced carry off the first hole. The course features beautiful Mountain views in all directions and several lakes making Del Lago a pleasure to play.

Driving Directions: Take I-10 East from Tucson to the Vail-Wentworth exit (279). At the bottom of the off ramp go North on Vail Road for 3.5 miles. The Del Lago Golf Course is at the top of the hill on your left. Map
