Lost Barrio - Tucson Shopping Description, Pictures, Map & Suggestions
The "Lost Barrio" is located in Downtown Tucson but it's hard to find. This place doesn't show up on any map and most people don't even know it exists.
The Lost Barrio in Tucson is a tiny, almost hidden, shopping district of only about 3 blocks. There's a little bit of everything here, Old West Heritage items and furniture, Chinese antiques, Locally created Art and even some Art Deco stuff from Buenos Aries.
There's Antique Furniture from Mexico, South America, India and Burma and there's tons of Doors, yeah that's right, Doors! They have doors from everywhere, temple doors from Tibet, Barn Doors from South America and even Teak Doors from Africa.
Tucson's Lost Barrio is an eclectic place, a bunch of old brick warehouses full of junk from all over the world. Easy walking, Fun exploring and just plain Odd. This is a fun place to just spend an afternoon poking around. We get down there about once a year and always have fun.
The inventory here changes all the time so go back often to see what's new. If it's summer, take a Hat and Water!
Other great shopping venues in Tucson include the Tucson Mall, a newer Upscale Mall in the Catalina Foothills called La Encantada and the ever popular Tanque Verde Swap Meet just South of Downtown.
Driving Directions: Located in Downtown Tucson. From Broadway and Park; Go South on Park and you will run right into it in a couple blocks. It's primarily a row of warehouses on the West side of the street. Map
