Macayo's is a really great Mexican Restaurant in Tucson with locations on the East side and also just a little bit south of Oro Valley.
Macayo's is a true Mexican dining experience complete with great decor, big Margaritas and lots of chips & salsa. Nicely decorated in the Mexican style and all the staff are dressed in the traditional Mexican motif. There are a couple of different Mexican food styles here in Tucson and Macayo's features the Sonoran style of Mexican Food. This is a busy place, lots of activity, food coming and going, lots of hustle and bustle. Get your Margaritas ordered and hit the chips & salsa while you are waiting for your meal to arrive. Pat likes the big combinations, you can choose from several items to create your own combination dinner. They have a full bar and there are often appetizers in the bar in the early evening and Macayo's is a popular gathering place after work to have a couple drinks and an appetizer or two.
