Starr Pass was re-designed by Arnold Palmer in 2003. There are now three nines at Starr Pass (The Rattler, The Roadrunner & The Coyote) which wander through the Beautiful Tucson Mountains. While playing Starr Pass you will see fantastic views of the Tucson Valley, The City of Tucson below and The Catalina Mountains across the valley.
Starr Pass is a True Desert Golf Experience with Wildlife, Desert Vegetation and many of the famous Giant Saguaro Cactus. There are elevated tees high on the side of the rugged hillsides and many natural desert washes which you hope to carry successfully.
Don't be surprised to see a pack of Coyotes or a family of Deer cross the course in front of you, so have your camera ready for pictures. You might also see Javalina, Roadrunners or Bobcats and a vast array of Birds, Rabbits, and other small desert creatures.
Beautiful Tucson Golf Homes surround the course at Starr Pass and afford a unique quiet & peaceful Desert Resort lifestyle with the fantastic JW MARRIOTT STARR PASS RESORT & SPA sitting right in the middle of everything. The Golf homes at Starr Pass can be small Town Homes near the resort or Beautiful Luxury Homes tucked back in the canyons of the Tucson Mountains and range in price from the low 300's on up to the millions.
One of the great things about Starr Pass is their commitment to Preservation and Revegetation throughout the development. Starr Pass even won a National Improvement Award of Merit for "Improving the environment for all mankind and for promoting, protecting and preserving the heritage of beauty for all future generations".
