The Tucson Botanical Gardens located right in the middle of downtown Tucson is beloved by all. The Botanical Gardens in Tucson has been named "America's Best Secrete Garden" by Readers Digest Magazine! Now how cool is that!
Hours at the Tucson Botanical Garden run from 8:30 to 4:40 daily except for major holidays. There are tours, various educational programs, a gift shop and even a small cafe at the Tucson Botanical Gardens. We visit the Botanical Gardens a couple times a year and we particularly enjoy the Tropical Butterfly Exhibit and annual Christmas holiday events. Parking can sometimes be a problem so we often park just north in the strip mall lots at Grant & Alvernon. These gardens in the heart of Tucson are a special place and we consider them to be an Oasis of peace and tranquility in the middle of our busy lives. Another similar peaceful spot in Northwest Tucson is Tohono Chul Park which we also enjoy. The Tucson Botanical Gardens is a wonderful setting for your special events such as Weddings, Business Retreats or Holiday Parties. The facilities are available for rental for such purposes. Please Note: This is a special place and they do have some rules: No Pets, No Smoking, No Climbing on Anything, and Stay on the Pathways. Driving Directions: From the I-10 Freeway; Go East on Grant Rd, Turn Right on Alvernon, the Tucson Botanical Gardens are on your immediate Left. Map | |
