West Tucson is generally described as the area of town located west of the I-10 Freeway. This area is a little more remote than some other areas but is growing rapidly.
Much of West Tucson lies on the slopes and foothills of the Tucson Mountains affording some fantastic views of the City of Tucson in the valley below and the majestic Catalina Mountains as a background. West Tucson homes vary greatly. A West Tucson home may be a brand new family home, maybe a golf course home out at Starr Pass, or a beautiful luxury home nestled into the foothills of the Tucson Mountains. There's horse property in West Tucson as many of the lots are larger so if you want horse property you might look here. There are also some really nice luxury subdivisions in West Tucson like Tucson Mountain Reserve or Saguaro Cliffs.
