If you are an experienced hiker you already know this, but if you are new to Tucson Be Sure to take Plenty of Water with you, even (especially) if you are just planning a very short hike. We learned the hard way. One morning we went for a very short 30 minute hike that turned into a 5 hour trek and we did not take water. It got real bad!
